NBN and Optus indicate continued impacts from extensive power outages impacting in Central Australia in wake of severe storms on 12/10/2026.
Optus has reported mobile voice and mobile data outages due to power outages in Alice Springs (0870), Connellan (0873) and Larapinta (Nt) (0875).
NBN have reported NBN FTTN services in Remote 0817 (NT (0870 (Araluen, Ciccone, East Side, Gillen, Sadadeen, The Gap), 0873 (Ross), 0875 (Flynn)) due to loss of commercial power.
Both Optus and NBN are working to restore services as a priority and will advise Estimated Time of Restoration when available.
