NBN - Unplanned Outage VIC 15/10/2024
Vonex has become aware of an unplanned outage impacting NBN services in some areas in VIC, investigation is presently ongoing with upstream provider.
Current locations impacted are:
Karingal;
Cheltenham;
Keysborough;
Dandenong.
UPDATE:
Services in South-East Melbourne have been restored following two separate, unrelated fibre breaks yesterday afternoon.
The fibre breaks occurred after trucks hit aerial cables at two different sites in Melbourne's suburbs. Our upstream carrier teams worked throughout the night to resolve the fibre breaks which were restored at 1am in Tottenham and 4.30am in Mulgrave.
