Severe weather across Central & Northern New South Wales (NSW) is impacting the commercial power supply, resulting in disruptions on the NBN and Optus Mobility networks. These conditions are likely to delay network and service restoration activities. The recovery efforts will be coordinated by NBN and Optus with guidance from the commercial power providers. Technicians will be dispatched to sites only when it is safe to do so.
As at 16:45 AEDT on 27/11/2025, 22,618 across all providers including Vonex are currently unable to access the nbn® network across the following technologies: Fibre to the Node (FTTN), Fibre to the Premises (FTTP), Fibre to the Building (FTTB), Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) and Fixed Wireless (NWAS).
